How do the different wattage modes work?

NORM: The output wattage is the same as your initial wattage setting; HARD: in the first 1.5 seconds, the output wattage is 15% higher, afterwards it will revert to the initial wattage; SOFT: in the first 1.5 seconds, the output wattage is 15% lower, afterwards it will revert to the intial wattage.

The cotton is compressed to different degrees of tightness using the ∮4.8 and ∮5.0 sides. The ∮4.8 side of rod makes the cotton more loose and the taste more wet; while the ∮5.0 side makes the cotton more tight and the taste less wet.

Why can't the airflow be adjusted?

The airflow volume is controlled by the coil aperture, on the basis of which the optimum taste is created, so that you can vape it directly without worrying about how to adjust the airflow.
